Some useful tips to find out the length of each chord in a circle

Construction Software

This construction tutorial video will focus on how to estimate the length of chord for a circle.

A chord of a circle stands for a straight line that associates two points on a circle's perimeter. A secant line, or just secant, refers to the infinite line extension of a chord. To explain more specifically, a chord belongs to a line segment that links two points on any curve, as for example an ellipse.

Here, radius of the circle is taken 2 meter or 2000 mm. So, the diameter will be 4 meter or 4000 mm. Some chords are drawn in the circle at the spacing of 150 mm. Now, you have to find out the length of each chord.
