Some useful tips to work out the footing quantities with excel

In this construction video tutorial, you will come to know how to make calculation of footing with the use of excel sheet.

The dimensions of footing are given as follow :-

Length is given as 1.2 meter
Breadth is given as 1.8 meter
Depth is given as 0.45 meter

The sheet contains various heads like item, numbers, length, breadth, depth, area of footing, volume of concrete, shuttering area, bitumen paint area, remarks etc.

To find out the area of footing, the following formula will be used :-
Length x Breadth x Numbers of footings

To find out the volume of concrete, the following formula will be used :-
Length x Breadth x Depth x Numbers of footings

To determine the shuttering area, the following formula will be used :-
Length + Breadth x 2 x Depth x Numbers of footings

To determine the bitumen paint area, the following formula will be used :-
Length x Breadth x 2 x Depth + Length x Breadth x Numbers of footings
