e-on software unveiled Plant Factory 2014.5 for producing & rendering high quality 3D plants

e-on software just introduced Plant Factory 2014.5, its ground-breaking latest technology for generating and rendering superior quality 3D plants.

The company also declared the availability of the free Plant Factory Exporter. The Exporter contains all the newest import/export features of release 2014.5. Plant Factory Exporter facilitates the artists to export Plant Factory content directly to their desired 3D application. Plant Factory 2014.5 comes with some significant improvements like superior export capacities, improved illumination rendering optimisation and export to LumenRT.

The existing users of Plant Factory can access this newest version at free of cost.

Plant Factory 2014.5 contains the following advanced features:-

Export upgrading: The users can apply Plant Factory to import natively in LightWave's .LWO and Cinema4D's .C4D file formats. Significant enhancements are added to .FBX exports, and particular import scripts for 3ds Max and Maya are now shipping with the product. While exporting to Cornucopia3D (the online store for TPF plants), TPF automatically authenticates exports to C3D's standards. Plant Factory can now export Plant variations as presets, to save resources and considerably reduce the file size. Now it is also possible export to LumenRT natively.

Illumination rendering optimisation: Crucial optimizations are included for the rendering of indirect lighting, particularly for vegetation through billboards.

Content collections: Plant Collections are now automatically coordinated through the Cornucopia3D TPF Nursery. The users will be able to access unlimited TPF plant species directly from inside the software interface.

Free Plant Factory Exporter - Tweak Plants and Export as Standard 3D Meshes: It specifically intended for CG artists who apply various 3D application like 3DS Max, Maya, Cinema 4D, Softimage, LightWave, Modo, etc. Plant Factory Exporter allows the users to buy accurately the plant species as per their requirements, create variations, alter age, health and season, and export as static 3D meshes.

Product Specifications: Plant Factory 2014.5 is available as a free update for all existing Plant Factory users, separately from their maintenance status.

Plant Factory is a 32 & 64 bits application, designed for the Windows® 32/64 bits XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8, as well as Intel Mac OS X 10.5+ platforms. For better performance, a good video board with a minimum of 1GB of video RAM is recommended. A 64 bit system is highly recommended.

The Plant Factory Personal Learning Edition (PLE) and Trial versions will arrive in upcoming week as updates to 2014.5.
