Shapeways together with Skillshare has started a 3D printing design school for the students

3d Model

Skillshare is a “community marketplace” aimed at helping students develop their careers or expand their technical skills, and a few years ago, Shapeways started a school on 3D printing design by collaborating with Skillshare, a community marketplace specially created for the students to make a striking career as well as improve their technical expertise. The school is known as Shapeways Skillshare School.

The school teaches everything from teaching the application of laser cutters to 3D printing and diversified other modern manufacturing practices.

The courses offered by the school contain online demonstration and capability to team up with the energetic and active community on student projects. Each class comes with short lessons and practical projects.

The Skillshare and Shapeways program conducts classes for the beginners and advanced users to learn how to design objects for 3D printing.

Some recognized teachers like Kevin Wei, Duann Scott, Aaron Trocola, Natalia Krasnodebsk, and Lauren Slowik will perform as the instructors for the various classes which range from Rings & Earrings 3D-Printing Workshop for Beginners, Introduction to Parametric Design & 3D-Printed Building Block Sculptures, and Foundations of 3D Printing and Introduction to 3D Modeling.

As a preliminary offer, Skillshare is providing members of the Shapeways community a one-month Premium account for $0.99. For availing this offer, one has to apply the code “SHAPEWAYS” while completing the signup process.
